HOW DOES CHEEK FILLERS ENHANCEMENT WORK?
Dermal filler is carefully injected into specific areas of the cheek; either the cheekbone area and/or midface, dependent upon the individual, adding more volume and lift where is it most required on the individual. We ensure all treatments are tailor-made to you.

To ensure your safety, we use a cannula, which is a blunt instrument which ensures the procedure is as safe and effective as possible. Cheek augmentation is an umbrella term for any procedure that fills out cheeks to improve facial contours and restore lost volume. It can also restore facial symmetry. A decrease in the bony support and descent of the fat pads, can create sagging of the midface and produce prominent nasolabial creases and a tired and older appearance. As such, volume loss in this region is a significant hallmark of the ageing face, and so it follows that restoration of volume using safe dermal fillers will help to improve the appearance of the area. When these injections are properly placed and injected they can lift the face up and out. When improperly placed, they increase the forward projection of the face and make the person look like they have hamster cheeks. Therefore, placement, lifting capability, the quantity of product, and the experience of the practitioner themselves are critical components of this procedure.

Cheek filler placed correctly, can also lift the cheeks when ageing or excessive facial weight loss has resulted in sagging the mid-face area. For a more dramatic facial lifting result, cheek fillers can be combined with SylfirmX or PDO Threads.

WHAT ARE DERMAL FILLERS AND HOW DO THEY WORK?
Dermal fillers are used for facial aesthetic treatments and are injected into the facial skin, neck and certain body areas such as the hands and buttocks.
Dermal fillers can be used to add volume to lines and wrinkles, provide lift to facial structures, create fuller lips and shape facial contours, such as the cheeks chin and jawline, straighten a nose and promote your body's natural collagen production.

Dermal Fillers contain stabilised hyaluronic acid which replicates the natural hyaluronic that your body makes. Therefore it is easily accepted by your body and actually increase your own natural collagen production.

We ONLY use dermal fillers which can be dissolved, for your safety should a complication arise. Dermal Fillers are long-lasting but not permanent , generally lasting around 6-12 months dependent upon the individual and their lifestyle.
